Hello,
I cordially welcome you this season to experience snow sport with us. With our motto this year "Snow and Fun" we start the winter with the "Kids on Snow" event on 26.11.2011 in Europa-Park. Through our cooperation with the Europa-Park in Rust near Freiburg we hope that the fun with and around snow can be conveyed even better.
On 18.12.2011 the annual event "Kids on Snow" takes place in Feldberg as it did the years before. Invited are max 200 children from 4-12 years old to experience the somewhat "other" Christmas Present in various "arenas".
Yes, and then it has arrived – the High Season.
A small piece of advice to avoid crowds and queues:
Be early at the Feldberg!
Though courses only start at 10:30 am, you have more peace and you get a better experience when you start the day stress-free. Small rule of thumb: If you want to take part in / book a course and need to hire skis or a snowboard, you should try to be with us at the vally station Feldbergbahn between 9 and 9:30 am If you got your own gear, you can be there half an hour later. Of course this only goes for the first day. The following days it's ok to be there at 10:15 am at our meeting place Kinderland or Valley Station. (For Hinterzarten please get information between 7 and 8 pm under the phone number 07652-1701, because other times apply there).
If you "just" want to hire/test Ski or Snowboards with the appropriate gear we are there for you daily at the Feldbergbahn-Talstation from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please appreciate that gear reserved over the internet needs to be picked up by 9 am at the latest, else we can not guarantee you can get the gear you wanted. And because the slope can be enjoyed best in the morning without much queueing (and Apres-Ski can start earlier that way as well) it should be easy for you to get out of bed early.

es, even if it sounds impossible – with the training path Ski in a day of Gundi Thoma and thanks to the Carveski it is no problem anymore at all to learn to ski fast and securely!

Lifts and cross-country ski runs
The region Feldberg is equipped with 12 lifts and more than 25 km slopes and is therefore the largest German skiing resort north of the Alps.

with various grades of difficulty. This is constantly being
prepared and traced. There are about 120 km of cross-country ski runs
for you.

Meeting Place / Registration
Feldberg
directly at the Feldberg-Train/ Seebuck. Meeting Place: Feldbergbahn or Kinderland next to the House of Nature (Large Carpark).
Hinterzarten
You find us in Hinterzarten near the Thoma-Lifts. Meeting Place: Council Hall/ Cafe Imbery or Red Indian Tent near the Thoma-Lifts. The ski hire is in Stühlingerweg 1. The School for cross-country skiing and the hire place is in the cross-country skiing centre near the Kurhaus.

Gundi Thoma's Carving duels
Gundolf Thoma was one of the first to pull the "carving train" and to conquer the skiing market. His ideas led to the introduction of new forms of competition with carving skiers, for example the carving duels.
