Great Ski Day for the Kids
with Kids on Snow and the Ski School Thoma on Feldberg
Already for the 8th time the Wintersportschule Thoma together with their partners invite the Black Forest Kids to a Snow Day on the Feldberg. Kids between 4 and 12 years take centre stage.
In the Play Arena and beginners Arena with the Förderband "Magic Carpet", a "Skikarussell" and 2 small lifts learning is fun and simple. For the kids who already know something there is the Action Arena with gates and buoys and in the Speed Arena they can measure their speed. The 'Feldberger Liftverbund' also one of the partners, provides the ideal crossover from the Feldberg Kids Land of the Skiing School Thoma to the actual Skiing Region.
Looked after are the children between 10:30 am and 3 pm by so-called Kids-Coachs, who are specially trained for such actions by the 'Deutscher Skilehrerverband' (German Skiing instructor association). The 'Feldberger Hof' provides lunch in the 'Haus der Natur' with Sausage Soup and hot tea.
Expenses for this will be 7 Euro per child and will be paid at registration in the 'Haus der Natur'. Between 10am and 1pm the children can be admitted without time pressure into the respective groups. "Award Ceremony" ( each participant receives a certificate and other goodies) also takes place in the 'Haus der Natur'.
For all who have got no relevant equipment the Wintersportschule Thoma offers in their Servicecenter directly at the 'Feldbergbahn' the equipment on this day for 50% of the regular price. To ensure a top-quality experience day the number of participants is limited to 200 small skiers/snowboarders.
Should snow conditions on 23.12.2007 not permit a realisation this would be so ist das zwar regrettable - howver the 'Kids on Snow-Instructors' can be booked daily as soon as lifts operate. For Nurseries and Schools the teachers of the Ski School Thoma have special choices which can be found under » info@thoma-skischule.de.
By the way: during the Winter Opening of the 'Europa Park' the Wintersportschule Thoma is in service daily in Rust near Freiburg.
